Brought her home for the first time. Put her on the hoist to get an oil change and clean the underside and it looks like she has never seen rain in her entire life.
pleasantly surprised.

Washed, Shiny and showing off seat covers!
Notice the back plastic of the seats has been covered in black vinyl.

The carpet is in-deed Black, from stockinteriors.com The seat leather is also BLACK w/red inserts of course.

I wasn't a fan of GM's Ebony for the interior, and I didn't like all 1 color either.

I went black and red also, had most everything wrapped in leather but didn't do anything with the carpet. You may have swayed me

Changed plugs and wires for the first time. I'm glad I went with Iridium plugs because I won't be doing that again. What a pain.

Can't go wrong with a new carpet, especially since they are all old by now! They have many colors if you want stock (yuck), black or something different. They'll send you free samples too. Carpet is cheap enough, install PITA - but worth it.

2nd best thing is new seat covers! Go for it. Install of the seat covers is a totally PITA, I had my done by a local upholstery shop for cars.

If I did it I'd go super black. Something about really dark black comes across more lush and high end to me. Yeah my factory carpet is in decent shape but it seems more charcoal than black. I dont have rear seats anymore so really once I got to the lip of where the lower portion mounted I'd be done the rest from.that point on is leather.

Went from this

To this

Personally don't like leather, I know I know I'm crazy right? Itsjust not my cup of tea here in Texas. I did get the whole set for $200, I came out on top i think and the seats came out of a wrecked 40k T/A.

ballfroguy, I agree completely. My car has the white leather seats and they are falling apart. Cloth seats seem to last much, much longer. I haven't been able to find any decent cloth seats for mine.
