Check out Autotrix for a relay conversion to take the electrical load off the switches and give full power to the motors.

has anyone done this? im not really all that big on cutting in to wires, but this looks very interesting.

do i need to pull the motor back out? as its a tight fit for the connector on the motor.

Yes, I did this to my '99 Firehawk. You don't have to pull out the motors. The kit includes relays that mount under the window switches. Plus you get a red wire that you run directly to the battery. I routed my wires through a passenger side firewall grommet below the engine computer.

I did the same as JohnR in my 2002 Firehawk. Full power and speed to both windows motors, should have been designed this way from the factory.

i worked for a pontiac dealer in the parts department as a manager back in the mid 90's to about 2004 and we were always replacing them the motors and regulators, i would have thought motors would have changed by now.

thank for the info and will add to my winter list of things to do!

I got the new steering wheel put in. The 95-02 style is waaay nicer than the 93-94 style. Much better!

I got my Strano springs and Koni 4/4's installed.
Still need to put on the adjustable panhard bar, but the rear end isn't *too* far from center. Then add the Strano sway bars and I'm good to go.

Not yet, but I did measure before/after and it lowered it about 1-1.5". My only concern is if it settles much I'm going to have problems with speed bumps. I'll try to get some pics posted this weekend.

I had found a photo a few months ago on a facebook group that had a double din and some round modern looking *****. When I posted if anyone knew what they came from the guy whose actual car it was chimed in and said he got them from a guy who made them and thinks they were these but modified on to the stockers somehow. I just got them in the mail and need to stop at a local shop that has some stock ***** and see all what I can do to make it work

IIRC some people are using Mazda 3 or 6 ***** for the HVAC controls. They looks pretty similar to the ones posted.

Got to install my new 555 G2's today. Also, changed out my DRLs for the millionth time. After these go out, I'm definitely switching to LED!

Only a little bald..

Finally finished replacing all 10 speakers with a set from Kee Audio. A previous owner had replaced the 2 back seat subs with a pair of 5" plain speakers, and one of them wasn't working. I had to trim the door panel a little in order to get it past the new 6.5" speakers. I also put in some Fatmat while I was in there. Now it all sounds awesome again.
Next step is replacing the stock head unit with a Kenwood unit from Kee.

I picked up a set of factory wheels for $100 to try and save.

A bit of water and 5 minutes with a microfiber did wonders. Can't wait til I get the time to really work on them and see if they will be saved.
