both my firebirds had this problem.
what parts did you replace?

It was the bracket that holds the mirror to the door. Mine was broke when I bought the car a year and a half ago. I tried epoxy and it didn't hold, then tried JB Weld and it lasted a little longer but ended up breaking as well. So I gave up fixing it and just found a used bracket in the parts section and swapped it out. Here is a picture of what was broke.

This might help you. I gotta re-do one of mine with the wires and I'll post up some pics in a week or two.

Heard a loud clunk from under the car as I was pulling up to the house today after work and found this underneath when I parked. I am pretty sure this is a arm piece from one of the 3 jaw pulley pullers that exploded on me when I was fighting to get my stock crank pulley off during a cam swap last Sept.

You are going to love the CDT speakers. I picked up the Level 3 kit when it was on sale over christmas and it is an awesome sound compared to what it sounded before. But then again when I sent to install mine I found that the previous owner had cut all the speaker wires in the car except the door ones, haha.

This will be the first stereo mod I've done to the car, since buying it back in 2001. On that note, I'm pretty excited. Haven't read any negative reviews on Kee's speaker upgrades.

I'm the 3rd owner of the car, and at some point one of the previous owners hacked up the rear hatch speaker panels to fit some pioneer 5x7's in there. Leaving me unable to mount the 4.5" speakers that came in the kit. Had to track down a replacement pair.

Cleaned her up, took off the Trans Am side lettering, and installed Ebay clear side marker lights. Took it out for a cruise with the t-tops off before this winter weather hits!

Installed my front license plate cover yesterday, that's about it. Waiting for the passenger side mirror to come back from paint, someone tried spray painting it before and failed badly. Mirror motor on passenger side isn't working so that needs addressed too. Mostly waiting for warmer weather to do anything, garage needs insulated to be ready for next winter.

I installed a new stereo with steering wheel controls, installed an SLP lid and fixed the left headlight motor. I bought a new brass gear for the motor only to find out that the previous owner had already replaced it once but put a crappy stock gear in it. There was so much epoxy on it that I couldn't get it apart, so I ended up having to buy a new motor...which I tore apart and put the brass gear in.

I looked at a picture of it, then looked at the snow banks and small lake forming in front of my house, then back at the picture of it. Hope to grab it from its hibernation spot within a couple of weeks.

Installed my fast 92 and nick Williams 92. Last week stuffed a strange s60 under it. Now it's back to painting. Hoping to get the bumpers painted and the rest of the body put together by the end of the week.

Went through a drive through and had the guy at the window ask if it was a diesel because it was "such a loud noise for such a small car".

Went to the Bristol street fights and ran my car down the 1/4 for the first time ever-for the car and myself! I am not to happy with my time, running on street tires and I left on green instead of the last yellow, babied it in 1st and 2nd trying not to spin but still roasted them pretty good, hamerred it when I hit 3rd! All said and done I ran a 13xxx at 109 something, I know it is a sucky time! I see DR's in my future-lol-it was a blast tho and I am hooked, I will be doing it again!
