How'd you like the HOTcam with the stock 853's? Did you have to make any other modifications to run that cam?

I'm wanting to throw a cam in over the winter and admittedly I want it more for the awesome lopey sound than to make big power since mines just a weekend cruiser.

Very nice! When I finally go through my build I'm looking at something similar so I'd love to hear it when you get her running.

In other news, My new tails that I just sealed up continue to let water in. Had a few ounces in there today when I pulled it off. Probably just going to drill a few holes in the bottom of it and call it a day.

Spent 5 hours detailing the exterior. Wash, clay bar, DA compound, polish, wax.

Was too dark to get pics when I was done and it hasn't left the garage since.

Installed my led 3rd brake light. Few things finish wise could be better, and as a personal preference I think it could be tinted a bit darker. Fit wise it's awesome though

sorry I was walking and accidentally posted it before I finished typing. yes plug and play, there are 2 paired wires that have the same connection as the filiment bulbs. You plug them into the socket's and the housing has the same openings to insert the socket and twist lock them in place. literally took me 3 minutes once I found the right sized torque bit. the fit is excellent but the finish im a little dissapointed in. If I dont tint it ill probably just spray the top of it to black that part out then Id be content

I don't think there are any required mods to run it other than a tune, and maybe upgrade to the LS6 springs and some hardened pushrods. It does have a good sound to it. While I was in there I also added a UDP, trunion upgrade, ported LS6 oil pump and new timing set just for preventative maintenance while I was already in there. I already had long tubes and dual exhaust, lid and LS6 intake.

Here is a video of the sound.

Sure thing! I'm hoping to get into tearing it down in the next couple weeks, I think I have pretty much everything I'm going to need. Just need to double check everything and order up whatever I'm missing. Will have to wait until the heads are installed to measure for the pushrods.

Finally got the front end together

Took her out for a spin. The alignment is way off as expected, but the brakes seem to work. Now just need to do the rears.

Why not go for something like the TSP true duals instead?
