Here in Kentucky flip a coin on bad the weather will be. So don't put it up for good, just for the bad weather days we might have.

Don't have much of a choice up here. When it snows we get demolished. I'd rather have it away in storage than the likely hood of some fool hitting me in a storm. It makes me so mad when I hear people asking if they need winter tires or if they can get away with all seasons.

Storing it keeps the rust at bay, by not having salt, water, and grime get all over the bottom of the car. I keep mine in the garage from November to May.

You can always spray the underbody with that salt procetion stuff, but here in MA it's not legal. In NH however they do it from what I've heard. Either way I prefer to store mine.

Not much of an option in Upstate NY here either, the salt, ice roads and bad winter drivers would destroy my ride in no time!

On the up side, after not diving the thing for 4 months, it's a blast - and like a new car when I take it out again for the first drive in all that time!

I get used to my dull daily driver, then to the Hawk in April is like Heaven.

Changed brake fluid and rear end fluid and did an oil change. Checked the rest of the fluids and they were good to go. Also fixed the window washers, they had a hose undone under the cowl. All good now!

Trying to sort everything out. The fun of buying someone else's car

I think there are some front license plate kits that mount under the front bumper so you don't have to remove the center Firebird.

I recently put a new set of TSP PRC 247's 360 CFM .750 inch lift heads on my little Firehawk as I call it. Finally I have matched the heads to the 408 Solid Roller set up. Working on the tune as we speak.
