Did the LMC headlight conversion. Not going the HID route, so I installed Putco Nitro Blue bulbs. Also replaced the foglight assemblies with new pieces and installed the Nitro Blues in those too. Looks really good IMHO. I have those bulbs in my 02 Lesabre too and really like them. I started on the sequential taillight mod too. I picked up a spare taillight harness so I wouldn't have to cut the existing one. Just have to wire the modules in.
Just to keep everyone happy, I washed, vacuumed and cleaned the windows on the wife's Optima too!!!

Don't know it you ran into this issue, but it was driving me nuts. The wiring ended up being longer and I kept having to adjust things to keep the wiring out of the motor arm or the factory plug out of way when they closed. The pigtails into the factory plugs seemed loose too. Not totally satisfied with that part yet, so I might keep looking into other wiring options.

Probably the HID wiring helped out. The factory plugs were getting in the way, not letting the assembly close all the way. Wish there was a male half made to match the female half of the factory plugs. Think that would make for a cleaner, more secure install. Might go back in and try a tweak what I did some.

finally replaced the missing TPS bolt. I also took her out for a drive after sitting in the garage since November. After driving my Tahoe all winter the ol' Formula feels fast again.

drove 960 miles in it straight driving. NEVER again will I do that with the car how it currently sits. The loudmouth 2 is great for short drives to work. However after 17 hours of interstate driving it really sucks. My current lowering springs make the car look great but the highway and interstates really bring out the negatives of these springs. I have had 4x4 trucks with solid front axles ride smoother than this car.

maybe it's you setup, while I haven't had a good run on the highway yet since installing my SLP Bilstein rear shocks and BMR springs (still need to do the front) to fully judge it, I have pushed the car up to the 80-85 MPH range and I love the way the rear feels compared to the stock parts it had when I drove it 700 miles from North Georgia to Sanibel Island, FL. last summer. I also have the Founders adjustable panhard and 3-piece poly control arms on the rear, getting the rear end centered after lowering can have a noticeable effect on ride quality.

I have a '00 Base 'Bird, which isn't worth much. I've been hag issues with the cooling system for months. After a bunch of B.S., I replaced the radiator cap 5 times...none of the "new" ones are worth a $#!T. Finally, I went to the local junk yard and bought one off of a Camaro for $3.00. Problem solved!!!
