It wasn't today but rather last Friday. I had V-band clamps installed on my exhaust to facilitate easy removal. I had 4 put on, 2 from the header collectors to the Y-pipe, one from the Y-pipe to I-Pipe and then one where the exhaust goes up and over the rear-end. It really helped with the exhaust leaks by having everything welded tight.

Tried to pin point the leak of my power steering fluid, was unsuccessful. Also got my FAST 90 cleaned up, about to epoxy the cracks on the bottom of them later. Need to get the car lifted up and see if I can find what the hell is squeaking.

Thanks man. Owned it since Feb 2005 when I joined this site. I try to drive mine every weekend about 30 minutes or so during the summer months. Maybe 20 miles at best a weekend. There are some weekends that weather just won't permit it or something is going on with the wife and my 3 young kids. Family is of course paramount so it she sits in the garage for a weekend it's no big thing, she'll be there next weekend too.

Changed the IAC. Next, fuel pressure regulator...if that doesn't fix the issue...the whole intake is coming off!

Unhappy What did you do to your firebird today?

Ended up spending around $1200 (right after I just got it out of storage - 2002 Trans Am WS6 with 38k) getting a new clutch kit, new flywheel, new master cylinder, new slave cylinder and reservoir, and all new lines for everything! :-( And boy-o-boy does it feel much newer and tighter!! This was about 1 week ago and now it doing something else funky - won't start on the first crank but will (100% of the time) start on the second :-( , so I will be sending it back to the shop to have that looked at. Gees..., it finally gets nice out and I gotta put a bunch of time and money into it! I want to take the T-Tops out and drive it!!

I made the mistake of removing the dash pad to reinforce it with fiberglass and cover it in vinyl so it wouldn't end up cracking... Car had been garaged all its life which is the only reason I even attempted it. Freaking cheap crap cracked under its own weight while deciding on how to navigate it out, and this was with a second set of hands so it was supported on both ends and in the middle... *sigh* Then to add insult to injury it kept cracking while trying to set the cracks... I can't wait until this journey through Hell is over with.

That looks awesome. How much did it drop your ride height?

Can you post a pic from the side?

Thanks bud.
My car is 100% stock. But the ride height is killing me... I just need to find the funds to do the shocks & springs.
