Default Anyone know this car

I'm new to the site havn't had a TA since 1979, now suffering mid life crisis. Wondered if anyone knew this car and the dealer? What do you think?

http://www.midamericaautoex.com/vehi...?VID=115082017

Wife likes purple, may be able to get her on board.
Thanks

Don't know the car or the dealer but if that is an origial purple code 88U color WS6 Trans Am it is rare. There were only 10 WS6 Coupes in that color. 6 Manual Trans and 4 Auto Trans.

The car looks great! I'd love to have one in good condition in that color.

Dealer wouldn't say by E-mail so I am guessing they know what they have, will call them tomorrow.

Thanks for your replies.

$15,9 may be a bit much, but it's not too bad. Sure, the purple WS6 is rare, but that doesn't necessarily make it more valuable. In 20-30 years it will, but not necessarily today. Of course, that's up for debate. Still, if it's mint and with the low mileage, it's not too out of line.

I agree. That is really TOP DOLLAR! Good luck in your negotiations. Getting it in the low teens would be decent but only if the car is really nice. Imagine trying to recoup your money in 2 years with an extra 20,000 miles on the car. That could be a serious hit in a short time period. Don't overpay.

FWIW, that car is ASC#19. It has been previously owned by musicncars & DrEvyl (as shown in the WS6 production numbers thread).

They bought it off ebay for 10,000
And trying to flip it for 16,000
so might help with your negotiating.

I talked to them a few times, was going to trade mine. They refused to budge on the price, $15,950, even though I told them I knew how much they bought it for, and didn't want to give me more than $5,000 for mine. It's a gorgeous car and extremely rare, but still a bit much on the price.

Also, the dealer I talked to tried to say the car was 100% stock... I said I coud tell by the pictures it had aftermarket exhaust... he said he didn't know...
