Clipped a wing :(
Slipped on some ice making a turn and my rear end slip out and I ended up hitting the guard rail. . Just reminding people to be safe if you live in a place that gets snow covered roads.
I will never take my car out in the winter again, and i'm taking the bus to school until spring time.
Any estimate on how much the fender and front bumper might cost to replace?

to have a reputable shop fix something like that you are looking at 1200 - 1500 easy. At least out here in CA.
But hey thats what insurance is for, right? You do have insurance I hope. Just pay your deductible file the claim and move along.
I had damage on my front bumper and a little paint damage on the rear after I got rear ended back on Thanksgiving and that ended up being around $1500 easily.
You might be looking at some bumper shock damage up front as well.

I don't believe there was any severe or (any if all) structural damage, because not even the passenger side turn signal was cracked. Both the headlights still function fine, and no mis alignment.

Depends if you use GM replacement parts or aftermarket. Bumper will prob be around 500 and fender 175 from GM parts, then paint/prep around 600. If it is feasible, maybe try tracking down the parts from the classifieds over the rest of the winter, you may even get lucky and find someone parting a red car. I highly doubt there is any frame or below skin damage.
GM repl parts will fit well, aftermarket will require some fn with....

I do have insurance, however me being of 18 years of age would cause my insurance to double. I have someone in the family who owns a body shop and i'm going to have him look at it this week.

going off an a tangent...
Myk, who is that girl in your signature. It cracks me up every time I see it. I can hear the "Oh my god Mikey got an LS1" in a Valley girl voice, LMAO.
Every time I see your signature with that picture and that quote I can't help but crack up.
Is that your girlfriend? LOL, too funny.

She was a girl I used to work with. When I first got my '99 T/A I thought I was a total badass. So when I was telling her about it, I was like, "yeah it's got an LS1," thinking that I was about to get an instant BJ. Instead she goes "ZOMG! It's got an LS1!!!11" Then she turns around to one of her friends and goes "what's an LS1?" That girl was too damn funny...

I hit a deer, cracked a fender and barely scratched my front bumper, costed about $1800, that was around 2 months ago. That was a chevy dealer, hoping someone will slide into my rear end and total it with me being ok! Get this wretched car off of my hands!

for 250 for the fender and 550 for not even a new bumper, id say **** that guy, check another source. Theres nothing worse IMO in having someone in the family doing the job and then acting like they were the ONLY people in the world that could get you back driving again. Go to a GM dealer and get a quote on a new bumper/fender, check GMPP etc. I cant see spending 550 on refinishing a fuct bumper, when a new one is around the same....

I hit a deer in 2009 and had almost the same damage. Adjuster checked it out and gave me $2600! Found a bumper and fender here on LS1Tech in the classifieds for about $500, got them painted for about $400, and installed them myself and had fun with the rest of the cash.

Another update, I finally got my car back today
Everything looks great, and hopefully I don't have to spend anymore money on fixing it, and can finally get my exhaust and Ram-Air hood put on.
