You can get the same ones the dealer uses at Helm. That's where I got mine.

Are the Helm's versions different than the version I posted? I thought that these were the dealer service manuals. Please correct me if I'm wrong

Thanks Jason

I see that the 2nd edition sets that are for sale have 3 volumes where as the 1st edition sets have the 3 volumes and a supplemental volume. Does the 2nd edition contain the supplemental information that the 1st edition set did not contain, or will I still need the supplemental volume if I purchase a 2nd edition set?

Thanks Jason

I have the 2nd edition 3 vols and sup. 4 total.
To answer your question, I don't know if the sup is included in the 2nd addition. Never checked that close. The 98's go cheap on Ebay all the time. 2002's are Hi $.
I have an 02 WS6 and use the 98 2nd version. Don't know if the 98's are missing stuff for 02 cars? Any one??

I'm dealing with some wiring issues on my 98ta. I have the dealer (Helm 3 book set) service manuals for my 2001 WS6 that I'm using to diagnose things and I've found that some of the connectors and wire pin locations on the connector are different at times but so far the wires seem to be the same colors.

Also there is alot more involved in changing the ignition switch then they show in the manual too.

Those look to be the (first edition) Helm manuals from what I can tell from the small pics. Helm is the company that makes them for GM. The second addition set Will usually have all the updated info in it. But as stated above it looks like they still use a suppliment for 98's. My 2001 does not. I went to the dealer to get mine and they gave me Helm's website and I just bought direct from them.

Buy only the 2nd edition. One of the first pages of the 2nd edition states that it superceeds outdated and obsolete information in the 1st edition.
