Awesome Thread
Dayhoff35,
I am an avid reader of your thread. It has inspired me to do the same to my 4th gen Camaro. I decided to to make a blog website to log my progress. I felt this gave me more control over content, format etc. Unfortunately it doesn't reach the same base of people LS1 Tech does!
Please stop by my thread at www.LS1GUN.webs.com !
I look forward to watching the rest of your build. Good Luck!
-Phil

having trouble getting it to turn over now, i have the red wire and purple wire hooked up on the starter as well as the ground bolted to the k member, but no juice. Interior lights and everything turn on, but car will not crank. It is a brand new starter as well so i know it is not a bad starter. I have a few more things i need to look at as well.

Oh man...before you go that route, see if you can't switch it over to the LS6 style PCV. You can get the much better solution for probably less money. You need the intake cover and a couple of hoses. If you have the 98 block, you will probably need to trim a casting in the intake, but that's no big deal. MY 01 block was a true LS6 block and didn't need it. Here is a 'how to' link: http://www.ls1howto.com/index.php?article=18
You can find the cover here. http://www.ebay.com/itm/LS1-LS6-Corvette-Vented-Valley-Pan-Cover-Integral-PCV-Blower-Turbo-NEW-GM-/130957916847?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item1e7db33aaf There are other sources as well. Please note the cover contains the PCV in it...there is no traditional looking PCV valve. You will also have the benefit of not needing a catch can for your PCV system. My car went from using a quart in a 1000 miles to using less than a half quart in 3500 miles. This thing works. I ordered the stock GM hoses for mine. It's just a much cleaner installation. If I recall, I used an LS6 CTS-V for the application when I ordered the hoses. I'm not positive of that though.

I ended up doing this i kept playing with the idea and decided to do it when i saw the price of the pcv hose. I ordered the gm line and cover today, i know my block will need to be cut since it is a 98 and i remember it having the part that needs to be cut. A little more work to make it run better is worth it i guess though. That all was only $100 so $50 less then just the lines.
I will have all of this done this weekend and ill try firing it up again, then im going to send off the ecu to frost for tuning and then a few weeks after that hopefully it will be painted and all the way back together in time to break everything in before winter.

Got the LS6 valley cover on, no change. With the amount of mods i have done i am thinking it might be the tune as well. I have changed everything on this car so the computer might be confused. Sending the ecu to Frost today and hopefully will have it back by next weekend.

Does anyone have an ABS module diagram? I also can not figure out how to route the passenger side hard brake line back across without having a ton of extra line. Anyone have some insight on this?

Well bump from the dead. A lot has happened over the last few months. First I bought a new roller from NY that I had planned to just stick my engine in, but yeah that didn't work out. Car looked in mint shape body wise, but when I got it the bottom was almost rusted through! Also went and picked up a lift and installed it which makes things a lot easier now as well. Also figured i would relocate fuse boxes, battery, and pcm while I'm at it since I took the engine out to put in the other car and that did not work out. Hopefully this thing will be read by spring, I have about 20" of snow here right now so it looks like I will have some time yet lol.
Redid the engine bay
How it sites now, engine needs some cleaning!
Here's the roller I bought, deceiving I know! Only picture I have right now I will have to get another of the under later.
