Default Hids for the bird

So, i was looking into HIDs or halos for the trans am.

I dont know if anyone is aware, but some people order their projector housings from LMC trucking and then buy the HIDs somewhere else..

But i was wondering if anyone else has bought hids or anything like from other places other than tmc.
I was thinking 5k 55w for the high and lows and 5k 35w for the fogs

I followed post #404 and did mine. Love the look!
HID's post 404

I had HID's in my fogs and my lenses started to turn to crap. I am replacing them with 1/4" glass.

I have always had good luck with DDM for the HIDs

I at least recommend putting glass lenses on your fog lights, or you can just buy a pair of LT1 fogs like I did that have the glass lenses to begin with

I have yet to put HIDs in my new fogs because I am still afraid that they will melt like my last pair

ive had my HID fogs in my car for about a year now with no problems. 6k 880 bulbs if i remember right. car is an 01 t/a btw. stock housings. no issues so far! i also did the HID headlight mods but i didnt like how it looked while driving. i had to drive an hour for work each way and found the lights were brighter with the LMC housings with stock bulbs and the HID fogs combined. ive been debating on switching to 4300k's though. would prolly be brighter.

I had mine in for about a year and a half .. once they start melting, they go really quick .. I think running them for long periods of time is what causes it
