Yep, that is definitely a Mecham hood, or a copy of one. I don't think anyone copied them so it would have to be a Mecham.

Thanks, guys... I appreciate the compliments.

No intentions to sell it... I made that mistake once and was fortunately able to correct it. Don't think I will get that opportunity a second time, so I'll hang onto it until the wheels fall off this time.

My car has never been painted ever... what is all you members take on this subject ? Thanks undftd.84
I know this is a super bizarre question but do you think you could tell me the paint code for your car? I have a 1999 Firebird in the medium blue metallic and it needs a few touch ups. The odd thing is that when I got my car all of his paint stickers in the door have been taken off. So I keep buying paint that is the wrong color!

I've only seen it once. And it was a 6spd WS6 at a little dealer a few minutes from my house.

I got bought in less than a week

Welcome Molly to LS1tech.com! SEARCH will be your best friend around here.

The medium blue metallic GM used is code 20.

Sadly, you will NOT find it availabe as a touch-up paint, they don't make it. GM doesn't have it either.

While driving from NY to Miami, I saw this clone of my car. One year color, non-WS6 Trans Am coupe. But my mirrors are body color.
