Thanks guys. I still have my civic for a DD, so I'm not too worried about gas prices. I knew what I was getting into.

Do you guys have any suggestions on a short shifter? I hear the Pro 5.0 was a good choice.

I recently presented the same question. Follow the link to read ppl's comments on the topic, I'm personally going to go with the MGW when I get mine based on what I read.
Hope this helps.

Honestly I expected to pay more than that for a good shifter. I'll definitely look into the MGW.

I was gonna buy a MGW when i found out the previous owner installed a B&M shifter. So i decided to keep it. But if i was to spend money on one, id go for a MGW based on reviews aswell.

Thanks guys. I'm going to keep driving her for a bit and see if I grow into the shifter, and when it gets warmer, I'll take off the console and see what kind of shifter it is.

Paint is in pretty good shape, has some swirls, but nothing I can't life with.

question for you guys. When braking. If I come to slow speed stop, my brakes will squeak slightly. If I stop hard, they don't make a sound.

Friend told me they might be on backwards, or they could be shitty pads.

What do you guys think?

Was able to find my favorite headunit. An alpine CDA-9856 w/sync cable. Finally found one in good shape. These are rock solid units and I can't wait to get it in the car. More updates later this week.

Got that heap of **** out of the dash. And put the new one in. Just need to get a trim ring and I'll be even happier.

Ripped out this heap of **** wiring.

Congrats on the Ws6, very good looking car. What condition are the rear floor mats in? (if any) The reason I ask, is I have 2 in flawless condition that I just took out of my ws6. Let me know if interested.

I'm going to replace the blinker sockets on the left side. Are the sockets the same for front and back? And what is the best way to seal them so I don't have to do this every time I wash the car?

Congrats on the beautiful WS6! I recognize the area you're in...I was stationed @ Whiteman for 2 yrs and drove my bird during all the nasty winter weather, so I feel your pain! I've got the Pro 5.0 short shifter in my bird and love it.

Let the modding begin!!!!

So I found out my sail panel woofers aren't even in the car and the monsoon amp is not working. Does anyone have an aftermarket amp mounted in the stock monsoon location?

Saw that the audipipe TS-VR6 was a good replacement speaker for the sail panels. Anyone have experience with those? Heard bazooka ones were good as well. I just want a little bit of bass in the car.
