Lol. Dam Phil. Really chasing it down. You've got me wondering now how much a whole brand new BCM costs. Sometimes a whole new board is better. When you get it all fixed , I suggest a DRL bypass. There are 2 ways to do it. The purpose of that would prolong life of all the components. Somebody did a nice write up on it. Search for DRL bypass. I'd go with the removing the resistor method personally.

Being that you're coming up on 200k doesn't help. Lotsa gremlins will be coming out. I'd suggest getting a daily driver if you don't have one already. I never daily my 02. Just a suggestion.

There's a resistor chip that's easy access in the dash. Pull that and replace with a dummy. That's way more simple and the best way.

Just killed the DRLs on my 97 S10 Blazer. Lol. Didn't realize it just had a fuse. Feel like a ***. I don't really give a dam about the truck. I just change oil and wash it. Got it for 2500 last year with 86k on the clock.

I might try the solder the 2 together method but I don't have auto headlights and I don't mind the drl if they work lol.... my main concern is getting the blinkers to actually work lol

I'm one of those people that would rather daily the car, I don't believe in owning a car to rarely drive it, unless of course u get a collectors edition brands new off showroom floor then that's different lol

Have you changed the turn signal relay? It's under the driver side knee panel on the right side. It's clamped into the lip , so it's basically invisible unless you know where to look. Sounds like this is your problem , if you haven't changed it already. The TS relay is different from the hazard relay. It will be a bit tricky at the parts store. Just take the old one in and match up the prongs. Some prongs look the same but slightly different. Match em up real good.

I'm keeping my 02 for life and it has 68k. Want to preserve that ***. I take it out once in a while and flog on it. No burnouts, just quality cruising with short bursts of speed and have done 140/160 like 3 times.

There are plenty more out there. Most guys in the PNW forum are running under 80k and some under 30k. Just keep it parked and daily drive a beater. That's what beaters are for. Keep the wear and tear off your baby.

Yea it was replaced twice already lol, I'm thinking it's the driver socket that's the issue now cuz everything eke blinks except the driver front and it's kinda corroded in there so Idk we'll see what happens

Replaced twice already. That's about right. Figuring out the schematic is easy. They're wired in series. Look at the ladder diagram and wiring diagram of that circuit. Should be wired in series.

That track on the DRL module fried because there was an electrical short somewhere and the Tail Lamps fuse was apparently too large for the circuit. Double check that fuse value; it should be 20 amps. The light switch is in parallel with that track so you may have some damage there also.
