I think bringing slicks to the race would make this an invalid claim... if you're gonna run a car, most likely on the streets... Keep it Street realistic and run him with your regular tires like everyone else would... just learn to launch lol

just don't stomp on the gas pedal ease into it at first then put the gas pedal to the floor kinda fast that way you don't just sit there and spin. don't worry about it his upgrades it's not enough that will make you loose. As long as your around 50rwhp from his you will win for sure because of the weight difference and aerodynamics and maybe gearing as well. I do not know much about the gearing part tho. Either way get a vid for this run make sure you DO NOT have a passenger have all windows up and A/C OFF like i said you should pull at least 3 car length's on this guy. and try to do some weight reduction to add fuel to the fire because he will be pissed!

I'd show up on a DR.. Nothing wrong with it.. Run what ya brung, hope ya brought enough!

If the car runs good and you can drive half ***, should walk him.

My 02 Ws6 had a lid and it would pull an easy 2 lengths or so on a 5th gen.. Granted it runs hard and I can drive but still.

Holy crap, is this true? 700 Ibs ---that is 317 kg ( from Sweden we use Kg). That makes it one chubby pig.

No, its way over-exaggerated. A stock 4th gen weighs in at right around 3400-3500lbs. A 5th gen is right around 3800.

you need to race him stat before he starts modding too much! Then again he is probably just scared to race you. If i was you i would just go call him out at his own house and get a pro go so you can record the race and post it on this thread.

If you have a decent set of tires and get a good launch you'll either beat him or make it so close that he'll wonder why he's paying a hell of a lot of money to beat a 10+ year old car by half a car length!
