Default What constitutes as a "completely optioned" out 2002 WS6 M6 coupe?

http://www.transamworld.com/2002-breakdown.htm

from this website my guess would be

Hurst Shifter (RPO code BBS)
Traction Control (NW9)
and 12 disc CD changer (U1S or 1SA)

are there any other factory options I'm missing?

Well, technically the WS6 and Trans am packages are both options as well.

If its an auto, 3.23 gears would be in there as well. Though I'm somewhat positive that those are included with the WS6 package.

Wouldn't make too much sense to beef up the car a little bit more and still give it granny gears.

Would this be 3.23 gears (over 2.73 gears)?

Okay the WS6 comes with the better things like the 17' rims, higher gears, and some other things. That's why my title says WS6 coupe. So we can assume the car is better optioned than a regular TA. But the real question was an optioned out WS6. Not a Reg TA or anything above the WS6 (like the CETA i guess).

It seems like those 3 options were really the only optional ones. If you look at the numbers a couple are missing the hurst shifter and traction control and not many came with the disc changer.

Seems like that was it, those look like the only "add ons" to the WS6, my car has them all.

Does anybody know if the in dash cd player was available with the 12 disc changer? My car has the cassette with the 12 disc changer.

Yes, the 2.73 was the standard axle.

Yes my ws6 with the high performance axle says 3.23 gear. $ 300 seems like a lot just to change gears. Why so much ?

The GU5 (3.23) rear is an option that is available with any A4 equipped V8 f-bod. When the WS6 option is ordered, it requires GU5 as a "mandatory option" if the car has the A4 trans and is priced seperately from all the other goodies that come w/ WS6. No "freebies".

To the OP: Trans Am is a trim level that comes w/ several items that were "optional" on the Formula or Firebird packaged as standard equipment (like power windows, leather seats, T-tops if it was a coupe, etc). The only remaining options available to add on a T/A is the MN6 (no cost), WS6, NW9 (traction control), U1S (CD changer). The Monsoon CD head unit (W55) was also included on the T/A trim, but the Monsoon Cassette HU (W54) was available as a cost-credit option.

Hardbones, my 2002 Formula has the in-dash Cd player plus the Cd changer in the trunk, so yes it was an option.

"Performance Seats" or something like that is an option too...its the lumbar seating option. I have had a couple early WS6s that didn't come with lumbar seats (though they are of course all leather.)

Only 2000 up date coded CD players will control the changer though.

Ah yes, the AQ9 "Luxury Reclining Seats" were optional on T/As up through '01, but they were standard on the '02 T/As. So in the context of the OP's question, AQ9 was not an option since they came standard on '02 T/As.

I should've also mentioned that the RPO BBS Hurst shifter was optional on all M6 equipped f-bods '99-'02. And to correct my earlier post, the W54 Monsoon Cassette HU was no longer offered in '02. That leaves the only options for an '02 T/A as: WS6, MN6, BBS, NW9, U1S.
