Exclamation alarm won't stop going off after last night's rain

so I have a slight problem now, after a crazy rain storm we had last night, any time I lock my car within a couple of minutes my alarm starts going off... has anybody ever had this happen to them before? I don't really feel like leaving my car unlocked all the time now

If you opened your trunk at all while it was raining/trunk had water on it I can almost guarantee that you got your shock sensor wet. Open your trunk and pull off the plastic trim covering the passenger side wheel well, you will see a small black plastic box on the wheel well, unplug the power to it, and allow the thing to dry out for a few days before plugging it back in. (It's possible that it needs sensitivity adjustment but try this first.)

Guarantee shock sensor got wet either from hatch open or it will run underneath the rubber over the pinchweld and flood the shock sensor.
Unplug it try it for a few days.

You can always use the key to manually lock your doors w/o setting the alarm.

You could disconnect the battery for a while and let everything reset.

I was gonna ask something in regards to that.... if I get a custom dyno tune done and have to disconnect battery for whatever reason to reset things, will I lose the tune as well or is it embedded in?

Once the alarm is in a tripped state it stays that way unless unlocked with a transmitter. Disconnecting battery wont help because if it did all thieves would know how to steal em.

Well its only the factory alarm, and I turned the alarm on and off multiple times with the clicker but as soon as I armed it again, it goes off.... I haven't connected it back yet cuz I don't want to deal with issues anymore

Is the shock sensor disconnected and it's still going off?

If alarm quit going off once shock was disconnected it's fragged.

OE keyless remote must be used to disarm once triggered it won't disarm any other way.

no it stopped going off once the sensor was disconnected, but the problem was I did deactivate it with the OT remote and it would still reactivate once I would arm the car again

but as far as my other question does anybody know about dyno tunes and disconnecting the battery if you will lose your tune?

Tune is permanently in pcm's memory it will not be lost by disconnecting the battery.
