New Owner of 98 WS6 Vert (finally took some pics !)
I Want to first give thanks to this forum and it's members especially NC01TA in assisting me in finding the right TA with the sharing of everyone's expertise and knowledge; all your help was much appreciated ! I found one local by word of mouth...worked out great since I did not have to travel but 15 minutes ! Wasn't looking for a vert but I am loving it ! Took it out Sat with my wife to dinner (took pics before) after many hours of cleaning it up (did not need much cleaning) these are the pics (detail still in progress).
Details: 98 WS6 Vert Black/Taupe A4 ~28,700 miles (started my search for an 02 WS6 SOM A6 T-top car). All stock except I added some red vinyl overlays to give it a little personal touch and a set of Lloyds Custom floor mats (I highly recommend them). Previous owner recently put on a set of new tires and changed the muffler to a flowmaster with dual exit (98 has the single exit).
Sat I washed the car using the (2) bucket method with grit guards, clayed, IPA wash, very light buffing with M205, IPA wash to remove residue from the M205, 2 coats of sealant (first coat applied with DA polisher) which I will then finish off with 1-2 coats of Meguirars Gold Class Carnuba wax next week. Previously I cleaned the interior (protectant etc) and underhood (no pics). I still need to clean and treat the top and seals.

Thanks for the kind words! All I can say is WOW!! An excellent purchase. The car looks great but you have committed a crime in the 'vert world. You are not allowed to take photos without the boot cover being on
Best of luck with everything! I wonder why I like those mats?
