Myself as well as xtincthawk02 have the regular cut out on our cars and they sound great and yes the electric one is easier to use with a flick of a switch. I don't mind manually un doing mine. Jeremy just leaves his off.

Find a place that will make it for you,

And depending on the mufflers you use and whether or not you run the exhaust out the back it will be loud and sound great.

I can send you a sound clip of my exhaust if you give me your email address.

That is a VERY good looking set of true duels. Did the rear end shift when he move the PHB mount? That is exactly the way I want my true duels to look. PM me any info about cost and location if you can.

I had an idea of hooking it up to the brake lights so that when you stopped it would close and be quiet, then when you take off it would be loud again. I wonder if someone has tried this

Duals will sound better. A cutout is the cheap route, but I had duals on my Camaro after having: no muffler at all with dual outlets, 4" Spintech, and finally duals. This was my 2nd LS1 car, first was a 98 T/A 6spd w/o muffler and dual outets:basically the loudmouth but before it came out. It sounded good and was a cheap fix for loudness and had a good sound to it. Personally, I'll go true duals with Flow's again when I get another T/A. It is well worth the $. If you can find a small exhaust shop to do it, you will save a ton of cash. I paid $100 to have mine installed including the 3" pipe. I supplied the mufflers and x-pipe and some pics of how I wanted it done. Took about a hour and I saved probably 4-500 dollars. If you hear duals with the 1 chamber Flowmasters, you will be set on getting that setup. I have never gotten so many complements on the sound as I did when I ran that setup. Just my $.02 though.

Sounds mean as hell. My wife won't even ride in the car Yes you could wire it to the brake lights if you used the 12 light blue wire on the brake switch to close a relay tied in parallel to the close circuit of the switch.
