Selling My 68 Firebird: How much?
I have a 68 Firebird that I have had since I was 16. That would be about 9 years. I will be moving to Charlotte, NC soon and dont want to take it since it's still in the process of restoration. The car is triple black, entire front end is new, it has a chevy 305 with the turbo 400. The car is 90% restored with some of the interior components being the only thing left to be finished. The car runs and the body is A1. Anyone have any idea how much I could sell this it for. The only reason why Im selling it is because of the shortage of time and money.

I got the engine for $60, I was on a tight budget at the time.....It was originally a 350, so no ram air, though it does have the spoiler.

Id be interested if the price was right, however the fact that you live up north scares me with the rust issue, as they put alot of salt on the roads in the winter time, I would love to see some pics, Id be interested in the rolling chassis, you can keep the motor.

Car hasnt been on the road for at least 15 years, its completely solid, we went over the whole body....plus I believe it was originally a southern car. I think I would be at least asking for $4000. Again, the car is completely restored minus a little bit of the interior. It has a completely new front end, motor runs great. My original intentions were to turn it into a 400 clone, with the 305 holding me over.
PS-I have never even driven the car, so I know it hasnt seen snow for at least 15 years.

you don't want to sell to a Yankee...LOL...at least a Texan, will tell her bedtime stories at night...besides, shell rust all to hell up there, and freeze to death in the winter, you said that she used to be a southern car, I just want to bring her home.

rjla67 you don't have no sense if you see two people working a deal, you need to inform the seller that you would be interested if the deal falls through, not try and snake your way into an ongoing deal, the car is sold if it is what he says it is, why don't you give me your address, and when I come up there to pick it up I'll drive by and show you the car, among other things I would hate to see a car like that fall in the hands of a jerk like you I don't even know you, but can tell by that chicken **** remark that your a punk step on my toes again...

FYI, this car has never been driven, at least since I have owned it. But it does run, it would probably have to be gone over mechanically before it was driven.
PS-I forgot earlier to mention that it has new brakes.
