Just had a few thoughts after speaking with the vehicle owner. We could and should have tried the install with the bracket only and then the module. Blame this being a cold, snowy Sunday at the body shop.....

We will reach out to a few other local TA owners and see if they have interest in giving this a go....

Did using the hatches on the bottom of the bumper help, at all? I imagine its still difficult, but on the base and formula, they give full access to all the lamps.

How about the base Firebirds and Formulas? Please don't tell me that I need to endure the indignity of installing a Trans Am bumper in order to see in the fog.

Since they're Ford fogs, will this be an option as well?

Access from the bottom is not the issue, just the available room to work. The Firebird/Formula body should have no access issues so we could certainly get something going for that body style. We wanted to try the TA first, gauge market interest and expand from there. If the interest is there, we will certainly pursue offering a product. The only downside to the Firebird/Formula bumper is the new fog design would not match the turn signals. Folks could nightshade the other housing but again, it may not be for everybody.

Those are actually a bit larger and won't perform as well. I like the fact they offer a black and chrome version though.

If there are any TA owners in the NJ area willing to lend us your car for a few hours, feel free to PM. We would like to attempt the installation with the bracket first and then the module installed versus the whole assembly as one.

Any plans for a low beam, high beam, and fog kit?

I personally swapped out my clear DRL/turn signal housings on my firebird for amber ones from a 00-02 (I think that was the year range) Pontiac Sunfire, people could do that and at the very least have the black and amber instead of black and clear. I believe there is also a tinted cover out there somewhere for them (I swear I remember seeing somebody post them at some point).

Glad to see folks are interested. We will keep pushing on this project. Unfortunately, the roads became less fun for us this weekend but we will keep it going. We have someone local looking to help so we will work on scheduling another install attempt.

I'm kinda curious on how a black fog light housing would look on a white car? Would it look good since it'd blend in with the deep fog light mounting? Or would it just look funny with basically 2 black holes?
