Default 1st Gen - where to mount computer

Looking for ideas and feedback as to where you have installed the computer and fuse panel. If under the dash, what size grommet in the firewall and where did you put it? 3"? Thanks

I pulled the glove box insert out of my 68 and mounted the computer and fuse panel behind it. I ran the harness through the firewall just to the side of the driverside head. If you have any questions you can PM me

I don't have a heater box in my car, so mine is about where this used to be above the passenger foot area on my '67 Firebird

Thanks I still have my heater in. I cant believe the lack of information on the internet on mounting PCMs. I may just use a Dingo mount and put it on the inner fender. I'm get frusturated on trying to figure out a way to hide it

There's a good number of companies selling PCM brackets, most are made by GM. If you can find a spot under the hood, a bracket will make it a neat install. Just google "pcm bracket".
