Thanks fellas.

Didn't need any spacers for the fronts. Fit perfectly.

Sweet! I’m keeping my fingers crossed I won’t need spacers or studs for my gen5 Brembo’s. I’m going to run the gen5 calipers and my wheels are the speedlines 18x10.5 all 4 corners. I think the spoke design should clear, I won’t know until the rotors are ready for install.

That blue you painted your calipers in is killer!

I think you should be good!

Thanks! Took a chance on the color and wasn't sure how it would turn out, but it worked out well I'd say

Welp. It appears as though I have a bum lifter. (Cyl 1 Intake)

Car is going to be coming apart in the next couple weeks hopefully. Looking at getting some Morel 6504s

Any other upgrading since you’ll have the head off?

Not planning on it besides the Morels as opposed to LS7 lifters

Ordered some Morel 6504s, LS2 trays, and head gaskets today. Hopefully can tear it down in the next few weeks!

I was thinking of running those in my build. I still need to choose between the LQ block on the stand or the LS1 in the engine bay. I live in Cali so it’s actually limited to what I can do. Our exhaust noise fine is now $1000 and a state ref automatically.

It's tough out there to mod anything. We got it pretty good over here lol. I'd probably be tempted to use the LQ since it's on the stand already

Extra 106lbs on the nose in a N/A car sucks though. I hate this state lol if smog wasn’t an issue, I’d do a forged 370 with 9:1 compression so I could run a **** ton of boost lol

Lifter install went off pretty smooth yesterday, mainly because of the help from my buddy LaBLKv6Z.

Installed the Morel 6504s, new trays, gaskets, and switched to Mobil 1 10w-30 synthetic.

Valve train is so much quieter now. Really happy with the Morels. Now to finish up the tuning!!
