Are these supposed to light up when the door is opened? (small lens in rear interior panels by the speakers) Mine don't, what's the easiest way to get to the bulbs if they are lighted?

They are definitely supposed to light up when the doors are opened. I suspect there may be a way to remove the lens to replace the bulb, unless there is a way to reach down the backside of that panel. Mine's on the lift for the winter, so I can't check to verify. Maybe check the owner's manual?
If both sides are out and the front courtesy lights are also not working, you might check the fuse.
Both are out but fronts are working, guess instead of asking questions I should just get to dropping the top and see if I can get my big paws in there!!!

- The Exit Light and Delayed Illumination could both be programmed off (see Owners Manual)

Doesn't the dimmer on the headlamp switch control ONLY the brightness of the dash lights? I didn't think about a BCM malfunction as a possibility, nor did I know that there was any programability of its behavior.
OK those interior lights pry out from the front edge. Very fragile and use something very thin. Poor design for sure, bulbs were just sitting in there loosely wasn't enough tension to make contact.

Yep. Your version of this is on the ceiling and there is only a single lamp.
If you want similar lights as this, you should be able to find surface mount, low profile units that you can wire up to the ceiling light and hide the wires behind the headliner and then down the B pillar.
Even better. Just google "surface mount interior automotive LED" and you'll be flooded with possibilities. All you need to do is find the electrical pigtail that used to run over your headliner to the center dome courtesy light. Hook these auxiliaries up to that and it will behave just like the convertible side lights.
No, this is not an option on 'verts, its standard equipment on all 'verts (Firebirds at least).

But Ill check out those lights. I dont really really need more light, but wanted some accent lighting. The mirror lights and the single light above the trunk just suck. I also need a new dimming switch, its a little janky as well. Im gonna be $10k worth of small **** into this car before Im done, dammit.
