I like special edition Firebirds a lot. I've always thought the Mecham was an interesting take, but the Firehawk was always my favorite. Now that I've seen the Banshee, I like that a lot more- is there a site that tells about their history? I mean like colors, what years it was available and where, etc.

so did the OP ever end up making the trade?... the suspense is killing me! hahaha. it is an interesting car, but no one on this forum really seems to appreciate different. all i know is that seems like a rare find and would be nice to own.

Because it is different I think it's a pretty cool car especially if it came from the factory that way. The color combination look great. I think I'd have to try to contact someone at GM/Pontiac if I owned a car like that to get as much info about it as possible. Especially production specs if it's not already out there on the net.

Yea I was gonna say the same thing... old as hell. I guess it's good to wake it up every once and a while though because I'm sure this won't be the last time someone uses a search engine to ask about this car.

Actually, if there were a kit available to make mine a replica, I'd do that.
