Also check your radiator and exhaust for "foreign bodies". I once found a cardinal (yes, the red bird) stuck up in the radiator of one of our cars. That was not a pleasant extraction. If you park your car where animals can access it, sometimes they will crawl up into the engine or other hot parts for the warmth. Then when you crank it up the next day, you get 'the smell'.

Occasionally after a lot of driving, when I get out of the car, Ill get a rotten egg smell very very briefly. I doubt its any concern, probably just extra fuel burning in the cats or something.
