Your next Bird?
I would to own a third gen Formula 350 car, maui blue. Think those look so damn sweet, right wheels like some ROHs and lower, they look killer. Be really fun to build one as a weekend auto cross car. The fact thier cheap and easy to work on also helps. What about you guys?
My first TA was a 86. 305 tpi, ws6, black and silver with a black and silver interior with factory recaros. I would like to find one again and do a head and cammed LS1/M6 conversion. I think it would be a nice sleeper. People would think its just a 3rd gen until its too late.

I miss my GTA (88 - pre-Cat's Eye). So I want another one. '90 preferably, with the same front end. Hard top. Black or grey interior, and black exterior.
Even kinda wanting an '89 Anniversery. Even if it is a 6 cylinder (shudder), it still hauls ***, and should be both lighter and better balanced than the V8s.
Wouldn't mind having one of the Maui Blue Formula 350s as well, myself.
Want an LT1 T/A as well. Non-WS6. I used to love those hoods on those cars, but now that I have an '02, they just don't do it for me, plus the reverse openings on the non-WS6 hoods would be perfect air extractors for an effective front spoiler as well as exit for post intercooler air.
Want an early 2nd Gen Formula as well, and possibly a late 2nd Gen T/A, Bandit Edition.
Oh, and gotta have a 1st Gen Firebird 400 as well.
Think that's it.

ok my next bird. HMMM tough question either a 77-78(of course) bone stock for car shows and cruises. An 89 turbo t/a since I had an 87 GN and now an 02 ws6 could have the best of both worlds a T/A with the GN heart. But honestly to mod and have fun with would probably be an lt1 style automatic formula with the ws6 hood and 5 spoke rims. They just look absolutely sick. Best formula ever made, not ws6 just a formula lt1s have it.

I think I would go with a 97 Firehawk. Have a last year of the LT1 and I already have the last year of the LS1 Hawk. My actual next car will be a 87 GN with 50k or less miles on it and in stock form. If the money is there at the time I will search for the 87 GNX. 1-542 made.
My dream car would be to get a salvage title '94 V-6. I'd put the alteeza lights on, dual coffee can exhaust, 20" rims that stick out of the fenders by 3 inches,silver tint windows and I would bolt a commando wing on top of the stock 'bird spoiler. To save money I would get the stick on ram air hood snarls. With the big exhaust and wing it'll be just as fast as the V-8s. I'll prove it to them by flying past them in heavy traffic when they least expect it. It'll be tight

Mine would be a 1973 Brewster Green Trans Am, 455 (Super Duty would be nice, but I'm cool with the D-port version!), 4-speed. (Go watch the John Wayne movie McQ - he drove a sweet one, even being as big as the Duke was!! Unfortunately, the car gets killed in the flick~~~
)
Next, 2001-2002 Firehawk, Blue or Black, 6-speed. I almost traded my 2000 Trans Am for one at the dealer when they were new. I was still upside down on the financing. I guess I'm getting old - I actually realized it was a foolish move financially! But, I still kinda wished I did it!

There won't be a next 'bird for me.....When I'm ready to buy again, it'll be for an '88-'89 Camaro to build as a drag car. I wish I'd kept the '88 Camaro I had before buying the 'bird. It would have made the perfect drag car.
