http://lair.evyl.org/1998-Firebird_P...on_Numbers.htm
2123 total Formula coupes
1567 with T-tops
so 556 hardtops

On the '98 Trans Am coupes, there were only two hardtops

That's exactly what I was looking for, a hardtop Formula A4. I couldn't find one and ended up with t-tops.

If you look in the T/A Coupe column on the provided link, it shows 12046 T/A coupes being made. T-Tops = 12044 so 12046-12044=2 hardtops.

Thanks for the info! I love my hard-top formula, even if it is like 1 out of 500 or so! ha!

I tried to order my Hawk with a solid roof but for 2002 T-Tops were stardard on the V8's.

Hrm, good point! Now that I look at it more carefully, I see the same 12044 number for keyless entry on TAs, too. And the cassette/CD numbers add up to 12044. But all the other numbers add up to 12046 (transmission type, gear ratio, color, posi), and 12046 is needed to add up to the total production. So either there's two 'mystery Trans Ams' hiding out there somewhere with no T-tops, no keyless entry system, and no stereo... or else two got left out of those parts of the numbers
