I love my Goodyear F1 GS D3's, and they are available at Walmart and Sam's Club for about $175. They are the best tire I've ever had on a Trans Am, and I've had over 20 Trans Ams in the last 25 years.

Any feedback on Fuzions? I checked into the Coopers today. The price was good ($135 apiece) but the extra charges brought it up to about $720! I was pissed by all of the made up charges this place has. The Fuzions are $140 apiece, and the total was about $665. I know it's not much difference, but those bullshit add-ons really bug me.

Dayton Dayton ZR's
I have been running 17" Dayton Daytona ZR tires for 16k miles now. They were $675.00 installed with 40K warranty, purchased in May of '04. A little noisy but they perform at least as well as the original Goodyear Eagles. Great price for the performance.

I also checked www.samsclub.com and found:
275/40ZR17 98Y VSB Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3
Exceptional traction and handling in a European-designed ultra performance radial.
Item: 706082
Price: $209.22
315/35R17 102Y VSB Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3
Exceptional traction and handling in a European-designed ultra performance radial.
Item: 706110
Price: $291.03
So the 275's went up $35, that's still a good price, and that includes shipping. I know the 315's are $375 from a Goodyear tire store!
