Default Sleeper or Modded?

Well my car is 91 Firebird, just a lil 305 TBI and T5..... for now.... but soon to be a T56 LS1 car . I'm also gonna of course go through all the suspension and set it up probably for mild autocross. I was thinking.... should I leave the exterior stock to leave it as a sleeper or should I get the 98-02 WS6 style hood and some bigger rims..... I'm open to suggestions. I will post a pic soon.

Well, I'm obviously of the opposite opinion, considering what I did to my own car.

So the consensus seems to be sleeper.... what wheels should I run? I was thinking gunmetal or black Z06 style wheels but a lil more snowflake-esque. Probably 17's.... all that because I know the stockers won't give me enough contact area for traction...... Well here's a pic of the car.....

Nice car! Its looks really clean.

Now sleeper, screw sleeper! Unless you are out there trying to street race everyone and their mother. Make it look nice as well as fast, just depends on what matters to you or if you can afford to do both.

17's will not get you better traction, 15's will with something like E/T Streets (26 x 10.5 x 15). You need sidewall and a wide contact patch.

ZO6 wheels would probably look nice on your car, but chrome. Unless you get the black's with a polished lip. But no grey. Then keep the stockers for track wheels with E/T Streets on the rears....Just my $.02

You could always Photoshop some different wheels on your car to help make up your mind.

Peace,
Craig.

Hey thanks for the compliments..... yeah it is pretty clean..... especially for 128k miles! Yeah I was leaning towards putting the hood on and everything..... but I guess it will be all a matter of funds..... Thanks for the idea of keeping the stockers for the track, I've always thought that before when I was planning things out in my mind... but I ended up forgetting, so thanks for reminding me. And yeah I know 17's won't give me very good traction, but I was thinking of just putting a wide wheel on there with a decent streetable tire. So thanks for the compliments and the input..... And more is always appreciated, and hey tell me whatever you think I should do to my car, I'm always open for suggestions (I have a feeling that LS7 is inevitably going to come up.... I wish I wasn't a farm boy and had money!)
