Every V8 Firebird is a Formula. Trans Am is only a trim option level which comes with a spoiler, ground effects, and TA badging. It also comes standard with options that would otherwise be optional on a standard Formula- for example, power windows, power door locks, power seats, etc. all come standard on a TA.

W66 is another Formula option code. If it doesn't have WS9, it should have W66. If it doesn't, then it also shouldn't have RPO code LS1, because every V8 Firebird has the Formula option code.

I found a list of RPO codes at the library in the GM factory service manual.

The dealership can give you a printout of the RPO codes specifically for your vehicle by vin number and it tells on that sheet what they are... Got mine along with the window sticker all at the same time
