free mods?

free mods? hi, i'm kinda new to 4th gens and I'm gonna be buying a 99 trans am nbm m6 in the next few weeks...I've owned a few thirdgens before and currently own a mint 70 el camino...I'm 21 so don't flame on that plz...but I was wondering what all the free mod talk is all about? also I wanna do some bolt ons and reliability mods and was wondering if you guys had like a recommended order for those? thanks in advance

do a search on the free mods on here and on google, youll turn up plenty of info so you can do it on your own, they're all real easy to do and will net around 10 hp or so with all of them, or ive heard. the fre mods include
-egr tube cutoff (cut the egr tube where it goes down into the intake manifold so it doesnt interfere with the air flow)
-free ram air (cut out the cottom of the airbox so air will come up through the bottom of the engine bay into your intake)
-!CAGS (disable the annoying 1-2 shift where you try to shift into 2nd and it send you to 4th sometimse)
-descreen MAF (take the screen out of MAF to speed up airflow)...this one is debated, not really worth messing with.
im sure theres more, i just cant think of em
as far as bolt ons....most people usually get a lid, catback, headers and ypipe, 4.10s gears, ls6 intake manifold, ported TB, and more....close to that order. just stay away from SLP things bc they are way overpriced. the only SLP thing id consider is the airlid, and all of those are basically the same. good luck man, welcome to LS1tech!
