Default Nervous.

Well the car is going in the shop in about... 8 hours, I really hope that I put this motor together correctly as far as aligning the head gaskets, torque specs etc. I did everything step by step from ls1howto but it still makes me nervous that the shop is going to call and be like.. 'we need to pull a head' or 'what did you torque the rod bolts to? because they are in the pan now'. AND a buddy of mine that works at a body shop is taking the challenge of doing some glass work on the front bumper and filling in the lower nostrils of the car to be flush with the hood and if i dont like it... that would suck! This is the only pic I can find of a good photoshop of the nose.. Nostriless

If the seamline on the body work is perfect I think that you'd have made a tasteful "original" improvent.

I really like the intended concert. Very slick.

I don't like the nose of the car being smooth like in that pic.

Kinda makes it look like a 3000GT like that... KINDA. But its original and tasteful, I like it.

Good luck with the motor too

Hmm, I like that. Actually makes the stock hood look good, as the stock T/A hood always looked to me like it was missing something (WS6 nostrils).

The hood is the exact same as yours...

He is going to have to raise the part the latch locks into so the hood can be lifted higher to unlatch it, other than that it should be ok.

The body guy didnt have time to do it (the shop thought they'd have the car longer but got ahead) I talked to him this evening and he said when ever I can spare the car to bring it by and he'll get it done, so after finals the bumper is getting its work done Motor and all is in with no issues except my mounts being shot, but what can you expect cammin' with 138k on the old one?! Dyno'd decently too I think for whats in it, heres a link to that thread in the dyno section.. https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...37#post4710837

That front end is gorgeous.

Wonder what it'd look like with a ws6 hood.

Seriously though, that front end just looks mean...
