Definitely not around the city driving, which is one of my pet peeves, I think it's ridiculous to drive around town with the fog/driving lights one. It's just too stupid.

I like the look of the car when the fog lights are on. However I usually forget to turn them on. Then again when I remember to turn them on I always forget to turn them off untill I hear the idiot bell reminding me the lights are on

I'm with most of you, I use them at dawn, dusk, or raining. I just put in some Pilot Cyberwhites which are a million times brighter, so the only time I use low beams anymore is if I'm driving somewhere without street lamps.

In my opinion it IS ridiculous to drive around the city/town with them on.
They are of absolutely no use in city driving, other than 'for others to see me better'.
Well then let's just take off the daytime running lights that GM put on the car to begin with.
What good does it really do other than 'make your car look cool'?!? Seriously.
Some of them are too bright anyway. Okay fine, 'they're not that bright in the daylight'.
Well then why the hell are they on during daylight hours?!?
There are times & places where the fog/driving lights can be beneficial, ..., I think, ...
I guess I'm just not that vain that I need everyone around me to see that I'm 'cool' with my fog/driving lights on.
It's usually the yonger crowd than does it anyway. Maybe I'm just getting too old, ...
To each their own. You can use'em, I don't.
I didn't call anyone stupid themselves.
I just thought the behavior was stupid.
But I'll simply change the wording to ridiculous.
So don't hate me for having an opinion.
Don't take me seriously for my own misjudgements.
I can be 'stupid' myself sometimes, yes.
Just ask the cop that stopped me a few weeks ago, ...
And that my friends, is my opinion & I'm sticking to it, ...
(Had to get my daily dose of smileys in too, ...)

I use mine in rain (and occasionally at dusk or dawn) because they satisfy the "lights on when raining" laws in Florida. Other than that they are only on when the headlights are on.

I like to put them on at dusk, dawn, and when I'm cruising around town at night. I make sure and turn them out when I'm driving home at night, if you're doing a little over the speed limit and you meet a cop on the road the fogs might as well be bullseyes, because around here they go after f bodys and mustangs like no other.

I turn on the running lights (so the sides and back also) along with the foggies when the lighting is not so great, so others can see me better. Having a black car for the first time has made me more cautious about being visible.
There's a long stretch of very busy road I take going home that faces directly into the late afternoon/setting sun; there's plenty of light around but I know from my own experience it is tough to see another car in front of you in the glare, especially with a dirty windshield.
I think our cars look way cool with just the running lights and fog lamps on, but that the pop-ups (when up) look like *** on the 98+'s.

I drive with mine on during the day, and at night. I not only want people to see me in their mirrors, but when I am coming towards them. Like on a 2 way street. I think they make the car stand out.

I forgot to mention, at night and in rain I drive the headlights on... if you leave the foglights on and have the headlights up people start flashing their lights at you...
