I always have them on at night with my normal headlights but during the day the only lights I have running are the DRLs which i think make me look cool enough

Always during the daytime..and at night.

Besides looking meaner, it serves another purpose:
People tend to notice people who drive with some form of light on. Rather that than the opposite...

I agree with using them at dusk, I think it looks good at that time of day. As for driving at night they are always on.

Well, I drive with mine on (without the pop-ups) at dusk/dawn always, and often if it's a short trip at night on well-lit streets. I don't know if it's legal ... but hopefully it's saving the life of my headlight motors. I figure I'm cutting the cycling of those by 50% or more.

At dusk/dawn I do. The look is simply awesome and everytime I do it someone is staring it down in the opposing lane.

i would have to say now that i use them at night by themselves now, i have the xenon bulbs and just riding with those on gets rid of the stupid wiggle at high speeds on the pop up lights

I used to drive with just the fog lights on at dusk cuz it made My car look tuff. since I got the blackouts for them I dont because it looks wierd cuz the little mounting brackets are visible and the lights are dimmer. Now Im into the all blacked out front end look.Sorry pics are kinda dark.

Default Yes and No

I'm with the above poster. On a sunny day, no. On a cloudy overcast day, yes.

I use mine all the time A) you can never have enough light B) people in front of you signal out of the way when your coming up on them. Also i still see alot of you with yella bulbs i just went and got the silverstars white and matched the fogs to them looks pretty nice until night time when the pop ups come on and they make the fogs and driving lights look yellow the euro kit came with blue bulbs

Mine are always on when the headlights are. The car just looks better with them on IMO. Sometimes if it's not really daylight, like at dusk/dawn, I'll run with just the foglights on. The car just looks alot meaner for some reason with only the foglights on.

Definitely not around the city driving, which is one of my pet peeves, I think it's ridiculous to drive around town with the fog/driving lights one. It's just too stupid.
Yeah, I agree, putting extra light out there to help you see/be seen is insane.

These fog lights are mainly for appearance and that's how I use them.
Unless, as someone else pointed out, you have replaced the crappy stockers with some good (and bright) aftermarket ones.

They are of absolutely no use in city driving, other than 'for others to see me better'.
How is it stupid or ridiculous or "of no use" to give your car a better chance of being seen by other drivers, day or night? ANYTHING that will cut down on the chance of my car getting smashed into by some asshat is well worth doing IMHO.

i think it's dumb to drive with them on in the middle of the day. all it is is more current drawn from your battery and 2 more bulbs that will burn out sooner. we have DRL that are on all the time. no need for fog lights being on IMO, especially in the daytime.
