Wild having a car that you need a 15 year mortgage to buy. Worth it though.
Personally I'd love to have a '77-'78 Bandit Trans Am black/gold with the german lettering. With an LSx/t56 swap of course...

nah, a numbers matching 67 Firebird in fully restored condition might be worth $30K max. A modified car to this level is worth far more.
My red '69 SS would have been worth about $35K fully restored, numbers matching. I sold it for $60K with the supercharged LS6 and modern parts on it.

You make me sad
I did see a 67 Firebird in Hot Rod that had a 4th gen dash console and front and rear seats, looked weird but good, but it all fit in there.
As far as it being expensive, I think its worth it, he has done alot to that car, and like Nineball said, the 1st gen Birds are expensive when in good condition, mine was appraised at 5K and its in pretty bad shape right now. They are alot more expensive than 1st gen Camaros because less were made, plus how many do you see running around?

First gen. firebirds more expensibe than the same year camaros? I've been looking at the prices for a while on both cars and I have to disagree with that. Firebirds in so so shape won't bring near the same money as a similar camaro due to popularity. High end vehicles might be closer in price but the demand for them isn't there.
