Exclamation Help With 2000 Ws6

I'm looking at a 2000 WS6 with 12k miles. Is there anything I should be worried about that they didn't work out for the '01-'02 years? In other words anyone know the recalls or problems with this year?

Nope, it's the best year of all fourth-gens (but I'm a little partial).

No problems or recalls that I'm aware of. Only worthwhile thing that comes to mind that changed in 2001-2 was the LS6 intake, No EGR, and updated clutch hydraulics. Which a LS6 intake can be had for $300-350 used, EGR can be deleted and hydraulics swapped when you toast your stock clutch. There is no real good reason not to pick up a 1998-2000 really.

Actually if you search for a 2000 trans am there are no recalls.... maybe you put in the wrong year... AT least there wasn't when the car has 12k miles.

oops I searched 2002, but you got 68 TSBs instead

mileage does not matter for recalls or TSBs

Hmmmmm. Where did all the rest of the 1998,1999, 2001 and 2002 Bird owners go? This seems to be turning into the 2000 Roll Call Thread.
