Default how i can i get 450hp out of a lt1?

.what i really want is turbo or a supercharger but i searched the forum and i can't find any firebird with one. is that because turbos/superchargers are expensive to put on these cars. i just love the sound of spoilng turbos and the BOV, i've wanted a car with a big turbo since i was like 12 . anybody have and suggestion on how to get to 450hp+ and how much it will cost.so i can start saving up, working at the rigs in alberta so i'll have big money rolling. i have cousin who is a mechanic so i can probably get it done really really cheap, mabye even free, doubt it though.i'm also considering a engine swap, i found a dodge viper engine for 3 grand on ebay lol jk . instead of people hearing my sound system , i want them to hear my car

Wow, you searched wrong. So many people on here have Turbos and Super Chargers. I'd ask in the section of engine you have (LT1 by the looks of your car).

Swap in a LS7? Just kidding, you have many routes to choose from...
-Stroker Head/Cam car will put you there
-Turbo
-Supercharger
-Nitrous head/cam

Easy, buy a C6 ZO6. Since you'll be makin the bucks, no need for the LT1! (LT1 guys don't take offense, he wants to ditch the motor for a Viper motor anyway!)

I have an STS and I am putting out 400 rwhp on a basically stock engine. I have read (not personal experience) that any more on stock internals creates a time bomb. I spoke to a mechanic that put a Procharger on his LT1, and got 450 rwhp. It also grenaded at 10k miles after.
As far as cost, I spent right around 6k total. I got the upgraded turbo, an electronic boost switch, gauges, wires, plugs, fuel pump, Transgo shift kit, trans cooler, etc.
I like the fact that it runs like stock when I am not in the throttle. Just my opinion.
