did you have a full tank of gas? i mean 16.8 gallons of gas may weigh the same as a small child. plus maybe the curb weight doesnt account for all of the other fluids like coolant and oil.

That sounds about right to me. I thought it would be a little closer to 3500# with the spare and jack, guess not.

Ok, from what I saw online the T/A is about 100 pounds heavier than the formula. 1 gallon of gas weighs 8 pounds or so. Spare and jack might be worth 5 for the jack and maybe 20 for the spare.

100+8+5+20=133 extra pounds over the Formula. Formula's are right around 3425 or so.

3425+133=3558 or so...

I would say he is about right on...

My car was 3674 with no weight reduction, half a tank of gas and me in it! Without me it comes to about 3534.

So with that figure 16*8=128 in additional weight if you would of have had a full tank.

Do you have any suspensions mods, wheels mods, or anything else that might add weight to the car or anything that is a modification from stock?

My car weighed 3548 with a half of tank of gas, my buddies "Stripper" Z28 weighed in at 3418, personally I like having options and the 100 or pounds doesnt bother me...

If I get some time today I will go and weigh my formula. I have SFC, STB, Boxed control arms, and otherwise full interior and all the other things. I will post up what I weigh with almost a full tank.
