I have a 98 Z28 BPM, about 95 made that year. When it's shiny it's wicked. Looks black at night.

That yellow looks pretty sweet.

BTW... Bright Purple Metallic was available on LT1s for both the '96 and '97 model years. No idea how many they made. Cracking up at all of the pics of my car in this thread.

BPM debuted on the 97's. 96 still had the dark purple metallic from 95. It is a toss up between Yellow from 93-94 and the Bright Purple Metallic from 97 for the rarest. Red Orange Metallic( aka Cayanne for Chevy), and Quazar Blue rank right up there as well. The later 2 were more common on Camaros, but scarce to say the least on Firebirds and Trans Ams.

not quite true. it was available late in 1997. i forget the guy's name but there was a guy on somerandomcarwebsite.com who had a 97 Purple Trans Am.

Purple Pearl, while not exactly common, isnt too rare. Back when the LT1 cars were new purple pearl was commonly ordered.

The google thing could be said about all the content on this site really. It and these cars have been around so long about everything is covered. Sometimes people might just want the interaction. Searching gets boring, and ALOT of the times the topics people use for forum titles are an absolute failure and make stuff irritating to search for. Titles like "Hey check this out...." , then within the post is the topic. Secondly, it looks like the person who revived this thread did do exactly as you suggest, in case you missed the date of the first post, this thread is old.

I'd be interested to see pics of Sherwood Green and Dark Green-Gray cars. I think I know what all of the other colors are, and perhaps have idea of the Green-Gray (Camaros?), but no idea of what Sherwood was. I followed the advice above (Google) and found nothing.
