According to The Standard Catalog of Firebird:

1995 - 2 coupes (no t-tops) and 70 T-tops
1996 - 10 coupes (no t-tops) and 35 T-tops

There are a few websites out there with information on them, try a search through Google or Yahoo for additional sites. There is at least one member I know of on this board with one.

What I kind of find interesting is the cars were built in 1995 & 1996. Then the wheels reappeared in 2002 on the WS6 'birds.

There is a '95 Comp T/A model that was been re-bodied with '98-2002 front and tail treatments by the owner, but it still has the LT1 engine. It was featured in the Feb. 2007 issue of High Performance Pontiac.

I owned one for 4 months roughly five years ago. If I recall correctly they only made something like 266 over the course of 95, 96, and 97. Mine was a 96 model, M6 w/ t-tops. I believe 1 out of 12 made that year.

Obviously I forgot the production number. 500 were intended to be built. I loved the car, but I could bring myself to run the milage up on such a rare car so I sold it. I wasn't too impressed with the LT1 and I didn't want to start modding the rare animal.
