Did t-top bags come with the T/A in '98?? If so, are these hard to come by??
Thanks.

Beginning in '98 the t-tops had plastic holders in the hatch well area. There were no t-top bags available.

My 98 came with the leather holder. I have never found it all that usefull since I always leave my tops in the rear compartment.

So were the plastic or leather holders easily removed and or lost???
I will have to double check when I get a chance, but car is put away for winter and a pain to get at, but I'm pretty sure I don't have anything back there right now for the tops.

That describes the leather case that I have. Maybe the orginal owner of my 98 just carried it over from an older car.

And to answer the OP's newest question. The plastic bags referred to would have been standard plastic that covers new parts that are not not shrink wrapped. The leather holder is a designed for storing the tops outside of the vehicle. This item would be very easy to lose. I only use mine to store the roof inserts which i never use.
