Question '02 Camaro Power Seat Unwanted/Loose Seat Movement FIX?

Update to my original post: Anyone know how to fix a Power Seat moving in a Rocking-Motion front to back and vice-versa on an '02 Camaro? It's incredibly annoying!

TIA!

Got a pic of what they look like? I had no idea that there are bushings there... Mine are 13 years/175k miles old and I don't have any issues...

P.S. My seat rails should be identical to yours, as the controls are identical from Firebird (non-TA) to Camaro.

Something just came to mind... Have you tried checking the four 13mm nuts that hold the seat rails to the floorpan? When those are loose, you get front/rear seat rocking.

This RS is ~70k mi. on it. Bolts are all tight, and I made a mistake, it does NOT seem to be the plastic bushings (but I do see where those are -- they line the sides of the metal track located lower than my photo) I assumed that Jeff from TransAm Creations knew, but upon looking at it a few minutes ago, the problem is between the bracket that attached to the seat, and the flex bracket attached below it. Seems worse towards the door side, but console side seems to do it too... See pic -- you can see it clearly where those two brackets meet at that oval-like rivet -- there is excessive play between those two parts there when I rock with my legs in the chair. The photo is showing #2 in the diagram in my OP.

It appears this is a similar issue fix (doesn't list Camaro, though), anyone fixed this issue on their F-Body?

Also found this, seems like a common GM issue across lines:

I test automotive seats and it's common across the board. It's tough when GM doesn't want to pay for a quality track. It's just a tolerance issue with all the moving components in a power track. When you stack all the tolerances of each part it can add up fast, that's why we do rocking, lateral, and fore aft chuck and looseness testing etc. If I were you, and it annoys you that much, just find a track with less miles, (seat time) on it. Unless of course you just want to put some welds on all the vertical adjustment areas. There is typically not a whole lot of movement in the upper to lower track play. Why is this in the appearance section anyway.
Good luck

It's like every five years for this thread ?

I'm taking out a set of power seats to reupholster and I have the rocking problem, annoying af. I will look over the assembly after I unbolt from the seat this weekend. The rocking appears to be from the rail to the slider as all the bolts on the seat and mount are tight and properly installed. Passenger manual slide seat in snug and moves as it should... no rocking.

Love the power adjustment so I want to fix this properly. Will update with any good info if I sort it out.

There are plastic guide bushings in the rail that crack and break apart. I really saw no way to repair it, given how the tracks are assembled. I had a spare power seat track and those plastic guide bushings werent cracked and while theres still a little play, nothing like the original track.

The rocking seems to be from the rail to the slider as all of the bolts on the seat and mount are tight with best tall men chair and well installed. Passenger guide slide seat in snug and moves because it must
