One girl at school said I was a white trash idiot that drives a camaro. I was like hold on just a damn minute I may be a white trash idiot but I do not drive a camaro. She was like "well whatever you drive" One of my buddies stood up for me and said that it was a trans am and that its actually a pretty cool car. She got all kinds of pissed off cause she is one of those people who cant admit when they are wrong.

Now my friends at school will **** her off by asking me when I am going to drive my white trash camaro to school when she is around sometimes. LOL


Disclaimer: In no way am I bashing camaro's or those who drive them, just pointing out how I owned a dumb bitch that thinks she knows it all.

 

When it's some ricer hyping up his little sled with a 5" fart tip and neon underbody kit, I tell him I drive a Firebird. Then I come pulling up with my **** lumping and loud. As far as the WS6, people still call it that even though I have ZERO WS6 call outs on my car. No badge nor is it in my center caps like the 98-early 01 WS6 rims, but a Ram Air hood and people just call it a WS6. Whatever.

My formula doesn't get a second look from most people. Or they ask if the "trans am" is mine. "its not a trans am".

 

i get the non-WS6 thing a little. but more than anything they say "is that a stick?" no it's an auto. and they're like oh well it would be fast if it was a stick. i had one idiot ask me if my car was front or rear wheel drive at O'Reilly Raceway Park. and i'm like uhhhh it's rear. and that same idiot goes on to randomly ask a dude in a previous gen viper if he had a standalone fuel management system. some people are just stupid and the source of their automotive knowledge comes from the fast and the furious.

Yep, I don't see the point in worrying what the general public thinks.

 

My old LT1, I was at a car show with that and my Mustang at the time, parked next to each other. These kids come up to me and say "Wow! Nice Mustang! But whats that?"

Yeah.... people need to be shot! lol

 

You should say "Yes, want to race?"

 

I usually get: "hows ur camaro runnin'?" or "wheres the camaro?". I'll reply by saying i never had a camaro or just tell them it's a trans am for God's sake! If i think the person is really dumb, i'll tell them that the T/A and Camaro are identical except for the body panels... and some still don't get it.

 

I get that ALL the time too

 

First week I had mine..a guy pulls up beside me at a light..says..WS6 HUH...What SIZE 6-CYLINDER is it.....

 

rofl, i guess im just hiding from the retards pretty well. most what i get is "nice car" "nice trans am" "is that the LS1 or LT1" "How many gas stations do you question yourself on passing" "is it stick or auto" and my personal favorite "would you want to race my friend"

If you talk to the typical ricer and they ask if its auto or manual and you say auto they always say ahh well and ask why you picked and auto.... dumbass

I got asked the other day if my formula was a v6, but when i had my 98 v6 car I got asked if it was a v8.... dumbasses

Ive got the camaro thing before....

and my least favorite of all is when they ask how i can drive it right now kuz of gas prices... and i try to kindly explain to them that i average 22-26 mpg, the same as their ford taurus or grand am.....

 

They always think you're lying when you tell them that too
