Ws6?

A friend of mine just bought a 2002 Trans Am. It looks just like a regular T/A non-ws6. Though on the door sticker it says ws6. It doesnt have the ramair hood or hte ram air box either or the ws6 badge. It does have chrome wheels that has the ws6 center cap. Is this a ws6 or?

If the sticker says WS6, and the WS6 is in alphabetical order, then it's a WS6 that had all the goodies removed.

Sticker on the door match the VIN for the car? Could have had the door (or sticker) swapped out-

Have to check to see if the stickers match. I dont get why someone would take all the ws6 goodies out unless it was like a shop that screwed the owner.

is it a clear title? it could have been a theft recovery.

im assuming it was a clear title though i do know it was a repo.

I've got a friend who owns a paint/body shop and when I was in the market for my WS6, I drove one over to him. He ran the VIN through another parts place (I'm thinking it was a dealer, maybe) and they told him it definitely was a WS6. That's how I confirmed mine. I would think you could call a Pontiac dealership parts department and get them to run the VIN and get the same results.
