Phantom,

This is what Ive found so far.

Total Trans Am WS6 Built in 1996- 2,051
6 speed manual transmission - 1,117
Automatic transmission - 934
T-Tops - 2,019
Hardtops - 32

As you can see...this breakdown doesnt include color, but being a hardtop your car is at least 1 of 32.

How many were in Silver? I'm guessing VERY few. Probably less than 5.

Where'd you get that great info from? Post the 95 data! Post the 95 data!

...

Not that it matters. I already know I have one of one Purple 95 Formula Verts with T/A front end, WS6 hood, and C5 thinspokes.

And all that crap came on it from the factory. GM test mule. I swear.

Thanks buddy
And to think I was this close to selling it a couple weeks ago for a C5Z06
The motor bent a pushrod and made me decide to keep it and do a LS1 swap.
I guess it was a omen.

The morale of this thread is .... keep hold of these LTX cars. My buddy who is a car collector said they will increase in value in 10 years

I have a longer listing of that same sheet showing numbers for Taupe Leather, however the numbers for the TA coupes w/ Taupe Leather is the exact same number as for Pewter Leather, AND the numbers don't add up (i.e.: Total of numbers in TA coupes' interior breakdown exceeds the total number of TA coupes built), thus there is an error / typo in the numbers somewhere.

This is the main thing keeping me from posting my compiled spreadsheet w/ breakdowns of '93-'98 Firebirds, found several inconsistent numbers that don't add up. So to avoid spreading around erronious numbers, I'll keep searching for corrected ones.

please provide an update. I would like to see a spreadsheet for the 96 model year firebird. I've seen that for 98, now 97, but never 96. I figure mine is fairly rare as a red-orange hardtop, cloth, six speed base TA.

OK, since the 1996 breakdown isn't as messy (not as much missing info) as the 1997 I have, and at the risk of putting erronious info out there in cyberspace, I'll attach the 1996 breakdown I'm working on. NOTE the rows labeled "validation" are calculated totals for the sub-category that, when subtracted from totals at the top of the sheet, should equal zero. Note there are a few #s in the exterior colors that must have a typo somewhere, I just don't know where, so I've flagged that as such (in red). In the interior sub-category, there is missing data for the cloth interior numbers. When any column within a sub-category doesn't "validate" to a value of zero, every number in that column for that sub-category is suspect. Anyway, FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH........

BTW, only 141 ROM TA coupes built in '96, pretty rare indeed.

Thank you sir. I figured it was a pretty low number. I have yet to see a duplicate of my car in person/internet/books/etc. I've only seen an lt1 camaro in this color in person. Sorry to but in on the original thread inquiry..

OK, here's the '95s......... FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH. Don't say I didn't warn you, there's alot more missing info on the '95s. I could only guess on the other X# of missing exterior colors.

Default Firebird Production Number, Color Breakouts, Options, Etc.....POST QUESTIONS HERE!

It seems that many of us would like more info on production information concerning our 'birds. With all the threads that get started requesting information, it would be much better to contain them all into one thread. Going forward, please post all your questions regarding production information in this thread. Also, if you can't find your thread look in here! I just might have moved it in here.

Please refrain from bickering, etc., if differing information is posted. We all know that the record-keeping wasn't the greatest. I personally have found differing information amongst different authors that have written Firebird books.
