Did they get William Daniels to do the guidence in all 16 languages or did they use other people for the other languages? Can someone with one test this out on a route? I'd be pleasantly surprised if its true.

I was using my Garmin today in the T/A and it just seemed like an antique compared to my KITT GPS, haha The Garmin will still get the job done but not with much style.

I still love my Mio Knight Rider GPS. So much in fact that I'm selling my Garmin because its just not adequate enough for me to even use in my 2nd vehicle. I'd much rather just move my KR unit from car to car. ahah
$199 is a great price!
Everyone should go and get one....NOW! hahah

I've been fiddling with mine the past couple days....it has some features I wasn't aware of...like...spoken street names (if you use one of the computer voices, instead of the KITT voice) and the ability to add on FM traffic updates. Pretty cool unit for $199! My only complaint is house addresses seem to be off by a few houses quite often.

the delphi that my sister got me for christmas died a few weeks ago (well the unit still turned on but it wouldnt allow me to go into the GPS function, the rest of the stuff worked though) and if i wasn't able to get it fixed for $25 under warrenty (cost to get it boxed and ship it both ways) i probably would have gotten the KR one... i'll get one eventually i'm sure but i decided on new upholstery for my T/A for christmas instead.
