Looks similar to the LM Speed kit that is already out. Biggest difference I am seeing though between the two is the way the TB is hooked up. Otherwise you guys lowered the k-member and cut the cowling to make it fit right? Not really much you can do otherwise to make it fit unless you have some kind of new intake under the MP112. With those numbers are you guys running about what 6-8#'s of boost?

F-Body Supercharger Kit By MTI Racing
Our kit fits under the SS Camaro hood and the Firebird Ram Air Hood.
The popping is from running car on the Dyno in open loop.
This goes away when we complete the tuning.
The Supercharger is an Eaton By Magnuson.
Thanks for all the Buzz.
The Kit is based on a 122 supercharger.
A 1/4" drop of the K-member and cowl notch kit are included.
The Kit makes 8 lb. of Boost.
Thank You

There is already a kit available whats the big deal of a second almost identicle kit?? There gonna have a hard time selling ten of them. One shop producing Pd blower kit fills the demand entirely. Either come up with a kit that fits a bigger blower or don't bother. What about a bigger blower seated lower on the engine by the means of no intercooler and instead put a large fmic and extra piping would that work someway to fit lets say a PD blower capable of 20 psi? Or is that a mini fantasy

and this kit in case you didnt read is quite a bit different first its a 122 ( Bigger Blower) not a 112 like the lms kit and the t/body setup is much cleaner.
It also only requires a 1/4" spacer as oposed to 3/4" spacer on Eds.
People like you are why vendors dont come up w/ new products for our cars so if you dont have anything constructive to say
Our cars are not a priority to most vendors due to the fact they are no longer built. It would be a sad day if Lms and Mti and others were'nt doing what they are for a car that is at best 6 years old.
Thanks to all the guys that are still trying to help us F-Body guys out.

well if its a bigger blower than why is it only putting out 8 psi with full exhaust? Add some nice heads into the picture and the boost will drop. I wanna know how much boost will it put out on a built 348 with full exhaust? I've asked a few times without any answer. I don't think they have had the opertunity to find out. I had a feeling the fmic was out of the question with a PD blower. The only pros to a pd blower is the bitchen torque curve makes it feel like a much larger engine, but other than that what is it? I went turbo for a reason. Oh there are plenty of aftermarket parts for our cars I hope your not worried about that.

I would have to say they may not have tried to get all the boost out of it they can. Changeing the pulley size to increase/decrease your boost and then run a different rear pulley set and/or overdrive crank pulley to achieve more if desired. The smallest pulley I have seen is a 2.6". The most I have seen is on a Z06 with a over spun maggie hitting around 15#'s with a forged 348.

Keep in mind...at least 450 torque starts at 2500rpms and peaks at 475.
(No headers. Stock engine. Stock air cleaner.)
Engines with additional modifications may yield higher results.
We'll upload some burnout video soon.
Supercharger systems are ready for order.

Like Damon said you have to pulley it. you can't just adjust the wastegate like a turbo. From all the research I've read the 112 w/ be a better option on a stock motor. The 122 that Mti sells is actually better suited for a modded motor ie. H/C/Headers and a different pulley will net you well over 550 @ 8#s of boost. Add Alchy into the mix for cooling and you'll pick up a few more ponys.
When I bought mine from Damon I had it retuned and it made 480/480 and was identicle to the above car w/ stock manifolds and cats and 9.5#s boost,
Now w/ 1 7/8 ARH headers no cats. 505/500. It really depends on the mods but w/ the 122 Mti offers you have the ability to grow into it w/ more cubes.
It's all relative, if you want to have to spool at the line then go turbo if you want instant boost then go s/c.
I dont want this to turn into a debate over which is better, Except to say maggies are the best for torque and turbos/centris are better for top end. If your looking for the 700 rwhp to the tires i'tll probably not happen w/ a maggie(I said probably). But if your looking for fun factor w/ 450 rwtq @ 2500your not going to get that w/ a turbo/centri.
