Heres mine, I think they look best when they fade into the color of the car, unless your car is black then you have options.

hey i like the satin/matte on the black. same thing i did. it gives it the appearence that its there, but its not. kind of like a subtle nod to its heritage

I love it. I ordered a gold edition kit from Phoenix Graffixs and slapped it on. I love it. car looks like it should have come from the factory with it.

question for you that have the birds on your hood: when you guys detail your cars, do you guys wax the whole hood including the bird? is the quality of them as good as the 35th anniversary camaro stripes or the 99 trans am with the stripes?

Put mine on last year to go with the scoop. I could not find anyone to do a custom bird for me so I bought 2pc. one from ebay for a '78 and put it on myself. It turned out good but I'll be getting a 1 pc. sometime soon because I can't stand the seam.

I'm really liking the hood birds on the WS6 cars. I've seen a couple at the Nationals last year and thought they looked great. I ordered a full 1-piece custom printed and sized. I'm good at decals but I'll be hiring a professional for installation. Way out of my ability. I'll post some pics when it's done. I went with 42" tall and 46" wide (stock 76' style bird is about 45" x 45" but barely fits height-wise).

I thought about adding some fender extractors too. I think it may be a bit more difficult than I can handle. I have a friend that did it.

I got all of mine from AutoGrafics.com... they lasted about 8 years in the houston weather. I am just now replacing them becuase I am having my car repainted. From my expirence these guys are the way to go but I am sure there are others. When I get all my new decals on I will take some pics.
